Meet our Brand Reps

Katelyn Serfas

"Hey y’all, my name is Katelyn. I am 22 years old and I grew up on a mixed grain farm just south of Bow Island Alberta. Growing up on the farm gave me a great appreciation for those involved in agriculture. I have always been intrigued by cattle and lucky for me within the past two years I have been able to become quite involved. There is nothing I love more than calving season and being able to take care of the calves and watch them grow. I am thankful to gain so much knowledge from the good folks at K Lazy T angus where they raise purebred black angus cattle. Working along side these guys means they are teaching me proper practices and are giving me a better insight on what it means to be a rancher.
I am currently enrolled in the Registered Nursing program in Medicine Hat and will have my degree come April! I’ve been in health care for over 5 years now with a background in rural and emergency nursing.
Rustic Rose has given me an exciting opportunity to be a representative of such an amazing company and I look forward to working with everyone to help this business grow!

Michaela Balderson

"The thought of slipping boots on, & sitting in a saddle is every girl’s dream. Or sitting shotgun for hours to the next destination of your boyfriends bareback riding career. My life is full these moments everyday. Horses, Rodeo, Western fashion, REPEAT! I’m thankful to be a Rustic Rose Brand Rep. It makes my cowgirl brand stand out!"

Nicole Seitz

"Growing up on my family’s ranch south of the rural community of Consort, Alberta; I have spent my entire life engulfed in ranching, horses, rodeo, and all things agriculture. I have a love for cattle and horses that I most certainly get from my mom, who is my biggest inspiration and supporter. She runs our century old ranch where we breed purebred Texas Longhorns along with our herd of commercial cattle. Our fondness for animals is evident as we have a wide variety of species keeping the farm busy, including dogs, cats, mini donkeys, potbelly pigs and some ducks! But it was my passion for horses that got me involved in barrel racing at a young age and has since lead me to my career in equine therapy and creating my business, Smooth Run Equine Therapy. I became certified in advanced equine massage and vertebral realignment when I graduated high school in 2015. This past year I was accepted into the BC College of Equine Therapy program through the Natural Touch Therapy Institute where I am currently enrolled and working towards graduating in 2020!
Now that you guys know me, I am proud and beyond excited to represent Rustic Rose! I have been a fan of all their products for years as well as everything the brand stands for and represents! It is clothing I can wear working horses or on a night out, and always feel comfortable and fashionable!
